1. Who is responsible?
Maussiah inc. is responsible for information collected through this website. Hervé Philippe, president of Maussiah inc., serves as Privacy Officer. He may be reached at contact@maussiah.com, +1 (438) 506-3292, or 7981 avenue De Lorimier, Montreal, Quebec H2E 2P8.
2. What information do we collect?
The forms may collect your contact information, organization, request type, timing, relevant scale or territory and the context you describe.
For an application, we may also collect your place of residence, work authorization, education, certifications, languages, experience, achievements, compensation expectations, availability, résumé and any cover letter you submit.
The hosting server may create technical logs required for security and availability, including IP address, date, time, requested page and browser information.
3. How do we collect it?
Information is collected when you complete the form, email contact@maussiah.com or call Maussiah. The site currently activates no advertising, profiling or non-essential analytics tools.
If a non-essential analytics tool is added, it will be off by default until appropriate consent is obtained, and this policy will be updated.
4. Why do we use it?
We use information to understand, qualify and respond to your request; assess an application or collaboration proposal; communicate with you; prepare a proposal, interview or discussion; secure the site; and meet applicable obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioural advertising.
5. Who may access it?
Access is limited to authorized Maussiah personnel who need to process the request or assess an application and collaboration, and to technical providers required for hosting, security or email. Providers may only use information to deliver their services under the applicable agreements.
If a transfer outside Quebec becomes necessary, Maussiah will assess privacy factors and appropriate contractual safeguards before the transfer, as required.
6. How long do we keep it?
Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained for no more than 24 months after the last exchange, then destroyed or anonymized. Unsuccessful applications are normally destroyed or anonymized within 12 months of the last exchange; with separate consent, a profile may be retained for up to 24 months in our talent pool.
If an engagement or employment relationship begins, relevant information follows the retention period applicable to client, contractual, administrative, accounting or legal records. Maussiah may destroy information earlier when it is no longer needed. Technical logs follow the host’s retention periods and security needs.
7. How do we protect it?
Maussiah applies safeguards proportionate to sensitivity and context: need-to-know access, protected accounts, encrypted Web communications, backups and security updates, provider oversight and secure destruction. No Internet system can eliminate all risk.
8. What are your rights?
You may request access to personal information held about you, request correction or updates, withdraw consent where the law allows, or file a complaint. Contact Hervé Philippe, Privacy Officer, at contact@maussiah.com. A sufficiently specific request will be handled under applicable timelines and exceptions.
9. Changes
This policy takes effect August 6, 2026 and was updated August 26, 2026. Material changes will be published here with a new update date and, where required, brought to the attention of affected individuals.
